Week 15, November 18-22, 2019

Happy Monday! Well the semester is winding down, we are finishing up the last few lessons before  finals and only 2 more uniform inspections before its time to turn it in. If you are currently failing, now is the time t make-up any missed assignments. On Monday December 9, I will have "Make-up Monday", this is where students can stay after school from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and make up any missed assignments. Parents will have to provide transportation home as the tutoring buses do not run on Mondays.

This Friday some of the students will be participating in Junior Achievement at Bryant Elementary. Junior Achievement is a program that fosters work-readiness skills into our young students. The classes vary from entrepreneurship to financial readiness. These students will not wear their uniform on Thursday, only on Friday. If they need to make up a uniform grade, then they will need to do that on Tuesday.

This weeks schedule is as follows:

Monday: Drill and Ceremony/Junior Achievement Prep

Tuesday: Class Instruction-Learning Styles and Processing

Wednesday: Class Instruction-Cadet Portfolio

Thursday: Uniform Inspection/Junior Achievement Prep

Friday:  Physical Training/Junior Achievement

Virtual Learning Part II

Good Evening Parents/Cadets! I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed your 1 week Mind Break and had some time to digest everything that is going on. Unfortunately the school doors will be closed for the remainder of the 2019/20 school year, but we will ALL get through it! Moving forward, I'm sure you have already read the information on the Cobb County website and from Dr. G on how the school year will continue and what your options are. The school schedule will be Monday - Thursday with Friday being a make-up assignment day and when we will have a weekly zoom meet-up for any questions over previous lessons. In the Level 1 JROTC class there are several Priority Standards we must complete, fortunately we have covered the majority of them during the in class and virtual sessions.
