Week 3, August 19-23 2019

Happy Monday Parents and Students!

Welcome to week 3. All students should have their full uniform to include shoes. Today we will be explaining how to properly wear the JROTC uniform to standard. Right now the first scheduled uniform inspection is August 29, 2019. Students must wear the uniform ALL day on Thursday and every Thursday thereafter. PLEASE do not wash the uniform in the washing machine, it will cause damage and the student will have to pay for the damaged clothing. Monday- Uniform Class

Tuesday - Drill & Ceremony

Wednesday - Uniform Issue

Thursday - Suicide Prevention Class

Friday - Physical Training

Virtual Learning Part II

Good Evening Parents/Cadets! I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed your 1 week Mind Break and had some time to digest everything that is going on. Unfortunately the school doors will be closed for the remainder of the 2019/20 school year, but we will ALL get through it! Moving forward, I'm sure you have already read the information on the Cobb County website and from Dr. G on how the school year will continue and what your options are. The school schedule will be Monday - Thursday with Friday being a make-up assignment day and when we will have a weekly zoom meet-up for any questions over previous lessons. In the Level 1 JROTC class there are several Priority Standards we must complete, fortunately we have covered the majority of them during the in class and virtual sessions. I am suggesting that everyone continue on this journey of learning the first level of JROTC and completing the remaining Priority Standards. There will be incentives for those who continue.
